Indeed Apply integration

Overview

The Indeed Apply integration allows employers using AutomotoHR to enable Indeed Apply for their jobs, making it easier for candidates to apply directly through Indeed.

Once enabled, candidates can submit their applications through Indeed, and applicant information can be received and managed within AutomotoHR.

This guide explains how to enable and configure the Indeed Apply integration in AutomotoHR.

Prerequisites

Before enabling Indeed Apply, make sure:

1. You have an active AutomotoHR account.
2. You have the appropriate permissions to manage your company's settings.
3. Your company profile and job information are configured in AutomotoHR.
4. You have an active Indeed employer account, if required for your integration setup.

Enable Indeed Apply

Step 1: Log in to AutomotoHR

Sign in to your AutomotoHR employer account using your administrator or authorized user credentials.

Step 2: Open Company Profile Settings

From the AutomotoHR dashboard:

1. Navigate to Settings.
2. Select Company Profile.
3. Scroll down to the Indeed Apply Integration section.

The Indeed Apply Integration settings are located within your company's profile configuration.

Step 3: Configure Indeed Apply

In the Indeed Apply Integration section, review the available settings.

Enable the Indeed Apply integration using the available Enable/Disable option.

Step 4: Save Your Settings

After enabling Indeed Apply, save your changes to apply the configuration.

Verify that the integration status reflects that Indeed Apply is enabled.

What Happens After Indeed Apply Is Enabled?

Once Indeed Apply is enabled, eligible jobs can use Indeed Apply to allow candidates to submit applications through Indeed.

Candidates can apply directly on Indeed without having to navigate to your AutomotoHR career website manually.

The resulting applicant information is then available within AutomotoHR for your recruiting team to review and manage.

After Indeed Apply is enabled, an Apply Now button will appear on your job posts on Indeed.com, allowing candidates to apply directly through Indeed without leaving the platform.

Important Configuration Details

The Indeed Apply integration is managed at the company level through:

Only users with the appropriate company settings permissions should make changes to the integration configuration.

If you do not see the Indeed Apply Integration section, contact your AutomotoHR administrator or support team.

Verifying the Integration

After enabling the integration:

1. Confirm that the Indeed Apply integration is shown as enabled.
2. Verify that your job is active and eligible for publishing to Indeed.
3. Confirm that the job is available on Indeed.
4. Test the application process, if appropriate.
5. Verify that submitted applications are received in AutomotoHR.

Troubleshooting

I don't see the Indeed Apply Integration settings

Make sure you are logged in with a user account that has permission to manage company settings.

If the option is still unavailable, contact your AutomotoHR administrator or support team.

I enabled Indeed Apply, but my job is not appearing on Indeed

Verify that:

1. The job is active in AutomotoHR.
2. The job meets the requirements for publishing to Indeed.
3. The Indeed integration is enabled.
4. The job has been successfully submitted for publishing.

I received an application on Indeed but cannot find it in AutomotoHR

Allow time for the application information to be processed and synchronized. If the application does not appear, verify the integration configuration and contact AutomotoHR support for assistance.
